Default Recently had a job offer in Klamath Falls

I recently had a job offer in Klamath Falls OR. I am not familiar with the area at all so I am wanting to find out more about the area, etc. Housing, crime, schools, cost of living, weather. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

The City-Data page for Klamath Falls will give you some general info:
http://www.city-data.com/city/Klamath-Falls-Oregon.html

It's a community of about 40,000 (including the "suburb" of Altamont), set in a mostly agricultural/resource-based area. The weather is drier and cooler than Portland and the Willamette Valley, and cooler, with a cold and snowy winter.

Housing: Plenty of new homes being built.

Crime: LOL What crime? Hardly anything goes on, so that's a plus.

Schools: I think there's a couple high schools.

Cost of Living: Not really worth it IMO, but it's cheaper than a few places I have lived in.
Weather: It's been fairly cool this Summer which surprisedme. I don't think it went over 100. It's been in the 80's most of Summer. Klamath Falls can get alot of snow one year and not much the next. Since I'm originally from SoCal, alot of snow to me is 1 inch.

In my experience here in Klamath Falls, it's good that you got a job offer before you actually move here.
