In fact, my entire life has been very unnormal compared to how most people seem to live(in this country), so its probably close to impossible for the average individual who has a house, car, works a career, has families, etc.. to even understand my perspective on life.. I accept that. The important thing is not to get discouraged based upon what the ordinary folks are implying. Where others find zero opportunity, I find ways of making my own.. I always find a way, especially in a green rainy environment that lifts my spirits, because I can be damned sure the people aren't going to! By the way to pdxmike, there is a difference between 10 bucks in your pocket and 12,000$ in pocket.. Kind of a big one..
I believe I already addressed this from above:

I enjoy reading posts about various places, some here were very informative and I loved the photos posted too. I don't think all the name calling is necessary though. It really takes away from the other posts. The best way to end an argument is to say your piece and then ignore the other poster. Why play the who can get the last word game.

I have a universal that can charge all three, so no need to carry around multiple chargers.. Also, I don't intend to work a "regular" job ever again.. Only cash paying work when possible.. I have truly had enough of government interference, our broken taxes, and red tape.. I can literally do my home business anywhere in america, as long as I have a cheap room to rent.. Luckily, its a cash only business. Schooling is not feasible for me, or my personality.. In fact, all my practical knowledge has come from self teaching, since I was snatched out of formal school in the middle of the 7th grade.. I do remember that my time in class was literally the most miserable time of my life! I despise being around people in general, and especially younger people.. So I ended up taking my GED at 17(they let me take it a full year earlier thanks to my extremely high score on a pre-test), and haven't looked back ever since.. Personally, I count myself a success merely for still being ALIVE after everything I've been through! Also, for those doubting my arrival, don't! I've sold half my possessions already, and will have the other half gone by late july, in time for my aug 1st arrival.. Believe what you wish, but last time I was in my hometown, Buffalo, NY, my mother finally died(back in late 1999), which made me the last one alive in my family, I had no where to go, zero money, and very few possessions(mainly books).. I had to move somewhere, and was deciding between las vegas and new orleans, so I ended up flipping a coin, vegas won, and I left.. Been here ever since. Regrettably. So trust me, if I decide something, I go through with it.. Even if I have nothing but myself.. I will be in your state after aug 1st!
So in your book it's OK to steal electricity from tax paying businesses? Nice ethics.

Stealing? You're joking right? Its actually common practice in most coffee shops and cafes for people to charge up their netbooks, laptops, etc.. while they are sitting there drinking coffee.. Along with free access to the internet at most of these locations.. Is using their signals(which are free to the public) considered stealing to you also? However, I am taking a solution just for the times that I won't be able to plug in, I'm buying a hand cranked tiny generator I can plug all my devices into to recharge anywhere.. VERY handy I must say...

Are you buying coffee there while your laptop is charging up and using their wireless?

Of course! I've never been in a cafe where they let you just sit there without at least getting something to drink.. In the meantime, I can check my email, and keep updated on necessary info online, and replenish my charges for my devices...

It's a very common thing all over the country, not unique to Oregon. This thread has outlived any usefulness it may once have had. Closed.
