Down here in Ashland, it was touch and go. A number of thundery looking clouds rolled through the show, but overall it was a hit. My 8 y.o. son was transfixed by it. We had a whole community gathering down at the ScienceWorks Museum. Very cool. The pictures I saw looked very much like the images in this article.

Sorry folks. Did not mean to rub it in....

Looks like only S. Oregon was able to view this one. There will be others!

The viewing was good at my house. I have a couple welding helmets, so my wife and I could stare at the sun as long as we wanted. It wasn't quite annular here. There was a dark patch on the west that moved around to the south as the eclipse progressed. I bet Grants Pass got the full effect. It was still pretty cool, though.

Hi there Fiddlehead (if you are the same fiddlehead that I have ran into before or not?).
I did capture it with the camera here in Central Oregon!
Neat site to see over the cascades.... though I think the best shot I got was over black butte?
