Default Ah, it's tire chain season!

Fall is officially here!

Check the ODOT Pass cams, it's snowing in all the Cascades passes. Time to remember where the heck my tire chains are. Unfortunately, I think they are in a storage locker on the opposite side of the pass from me

There's always a ready supply of unprepared motorists when the weather changes. I don't know who is more irritating, the clueless sorts who don't seem to realize that their tires have no tread, the speed demons who think they can do 75 mph in a snow storm, or the off-roaders who don't realize that their big wide 4wd sand tires are just four hogs on ice.
