Default Crest Motel in Astoria

Has anyone ever stayed at this motel? If so - any comments?
Also, what is the weather like during the first couple of weeks in November?

Yes, great and miserable.

On a sunny day (something for which Astoria is not known) the view from the lawn up at the Crest is wonderful - the bridge, the bay, the harbor. On the other hand, when it's cloudy or foggy, the hill the Crest sits on is wrapped in fog. Odds are, in November, you're likely to have clouds, fog and rain. You never know, though, you could get a clear(er) patch. My two favorite beach areas in Oregon are Astoria and the coast just south of Coos Bay.

try a website called trip advisor you can look up reviews on any motel or hotel. i also use yhaoo to search hotels and motels for our vacations and day trips. i hope those help aid you.

JeffsWife: Thanks, I will try those site. I briefly looked at the trip advisor one and found that about 80% of the ones that I read liked the place. I will do some more research this weekend.

PNW . . .- Hopefully the weather does cooperate. If not - then I may not even go there. I am only planning on spending a night and if the weather is going to be horrible, I may just continue past it.
