Presumes facts not in evidence, such as that he was definitely an historical figure (not proven), or that people are 'afraid' of anything--especially of a rebel supposedly executed two millennia ago. It's not him; it's his fan club.

The problem, simply put, is when his followers decide to be intolerant jerks, or when they think their religion is so much more special than everyone else's that shoving it down people's throats is morally justified. At those times, one begins to start to ask the question: "Imagine an 'anti-Christ' did come. Wouldn't that be a lot better than this? Maybe I should hope it's for real."

When his followers do not behave in those ways, whether or not he existed, hardly anyone in Oregon much cares what they do or believe. When his followers live up to some of his more meritorious attributed teachings, people tend to like them and want them around.

This is not that difficult.
