Professional couple planning a move to Coos Bay, looking for realtors to assist in rental home procurement. Limited time between jobs for search: Move between March and May 2013 (no date yet). Not an easy location to get to for rental search. Hoping there is agency or realtor that can help to arrange a blitz of rental viewings during a weeklong visit roughly one month before final move. Hoping to purchase, but will need to rent while conducting home search (looking for reputable agent who may assist in future home purchase as well, with specialty of small farm type properties). Prefer rural; would like to be within 30 minute drive of Coos Bay proper. Any suggestions on who to contact for something like this?

Looking for someone who can work between rental agencies so we see the most properties possible, on a schedule and have a productive house hunt trip. It's a little hard to coordinate across states through Craigslist if you want squeeze the most in to your time!

Yes, we've been to the area (on vacation drive throughs, so not much experience), Yes, there is a job. Just need to line up the housing!

Thanks!

There are a lot of Realtors, but not many rental property managers in the Bay Area. Also they will need to PM as they are not allowed to contact in forum,

Good luck and welcome to Coos Bay.

Thanks for the reply Steve. Do you have any recommendations on some of the more reputable real estate teams in town that would carry a good listing load? I know sometimes they can be of assistance in finding rentals even if not advertising such. I know there are some big "companies" in town, century 21, etc. Further up the coast Windermere seemed to have a lot of good listings, but I haven't seen them as much in Coos County. So just a locals perspective on who's the best/biggest in town?
