I wouldn't vote for Jeff Kruse for dog catcher. Get him away from microphones where he thinks he's talking to his homies, and he is a total wingnut. The guy is a tea party loonie.

However, Merkley is in the US Senate, not the Oregon Senate.

I understand that Jeff Merkley will be having some Douglas county town hall meetings in January. I don't have the dates or locations as yet. He probably received the award because he is one of the few who works well with senators on both sides of the aisle.
