relocating to KFalls
Hi, I am from Grants Pass and wondering about the City of K Falls. My husband has to relocate for a job. Does anyone know of a good Pre-School, Elementry school and area to live. I don't want to move into a bad neighbor hood. I am very nervous but excited too. Any advice and ib=nfo is appreciated.

There really aren't any bad neighborhoods... it's not like Klamath Falls has a ghetto. Alot of people tend to think the Mills Addition is the worst area. Apparently there's alot of drug activity. I've been around there many times and it's not like there are drug deals out in the open. The newer additions of Klamath Falls would of course be alot nicer (and cleaner looking).

Perk Test
Hello!! Apparently I am suppose to get a perk test done on the property I bought there, and I was wondering if someone could tell me who I would contact there in Klamath Falls area to get that done. It's for the Sprague River area.
Thanks!! Is it cold there yet?

Klamath County
Klamath County Community Development - On-Site Sanitation Division
Downtown, on Main Street. Not the new courthouse, but the old one across the street with the bucket in front.

Yes, it's getting cold. A couple days ago, there was a little snow mixed with rain. Friday the forecast is AM rain/snow and the temps are in the 20's overnight.

How often do you have a white Christmas in KF? Usually/seldom?

Thanks a bunch for your replies! I very much appreciate the help. The folks in your area sure do seem like a nice bunch of people. I'm really looking forward to moving there. I'm from the Pacific Northwest orginally, and I'm looking forward to coming back! Thanks again for your help!

A very informative post! Thumbs up to you!
***I'm curious about the free concerts: what style venue?***
When I drove through KFalls in summer of 2006, it was a very pretty town. The mosquitoes were eating me alive (July), but I was very impressed by the pretty architecture & community pride evident in the the downtown area.
