We live in California and we are looking at moving to Oregon. Important criteria is mild climate as much sun as possible, not humid, safe, quiet, small town but not isolated or completely rural, lower cost of living with good quality of life. Decent medical care within reasonable distance. My wife is disabled so we lost the biggest chunk of our income and need to downsize. I work in television or radio advertising/promotions and need to work wherever we live, unfortunately we don't have a retirement but I can do other jobs as long as the pay is at least 60K/year. We need help! Unfortunately, we are not in the position to just come up there and scout around. Thanks so much.
I think you might want somewhere in eastern OR.Might be the closest to what your used to.Western OR pretty cold and rainy. Although the Portland area where I'm from is very accesable to people of all disabilitys and the people are helpful and kind. I'm not to sure if this helps but thats my two pennies.

Default Oregon Bound

Ive been trying to get back to Oregon since my two kids have moved out.
Trapped here in Redding Ca. from the divorce I had over ten years ago. my kids are now safe and sound and out in the world. Now its my turn to
follow my dream. Im looking for a small cottage inland a mile or more from the coast. An extra large lot, or acre or two. I love rolling hills. Perhapps someone out there would assist with the financing, or I can take over the payments on your current loan. Looking for a miracle, I know. But since I
know that God is out there guiding me, I know something great will soon present itself. Sandra
