Default Moving from Midwest to Northwest

Hi all. My wife and I want to move from Indiana to the Northwest. Her parents live in McMinnville, OR. We would like to move some place near them but closer to the coast. Western Washington would be great as well. I am a nurse and she is a teacher. So a city with a big enough hospital and a good school system would be great. Any suggestions?

We are looking at a price range of $100,000 to $300,000. My wife teaches special education in a high school but she is looking to get back to teaching the little ones. She taught 2nd grade before becoming a special ed teacher. I think she is interested in that age group (grade school). I am looking to pursue my Masters in Nursing once we get situated. How is Portland's pricing? I would rather live outside of town. Not wanting to do the whole city thing anymore if I can help it.
