Default Looking into Pendelton?

Thinking about relocating to Pendelton, Oregon. I wanted to know about the weather, attractions, prices of living, etc. I love the mountains, but I really don't want to live in bare farmland, so is there mountains close enough to drive to?

There's mountains just east of there within an easy drive. You can probably see them from Pendleton. Housing prices are quite a bit less there than in western Oregon.

The weather is dry and sunny much of the time. They do get some snow and freezing during winter. It is not forested there but you can drive to the forest.
