My Boyfriend and I are looking for some cheaper cities to live in and are just curious what is out there. What we are in search of is no apartments but rather duplexes houses town-homes and ect.. We need somewhere that is large dog friendly and has decent job opportunities. Thanks for looking I hope to hear from you all soon!

What's cheaper? $1,000 a month? $2,000 a month? What's your definition of a city? 10,000? 100,000?

What do you do for a living? Do you need to be close to Portland for work or do you work from home and can live anywhere?
