Default What to do for young children in Medford?

We will be visiting Medford in March for 3 days. What are some things to do with a 3 year old? I know there is always the play place at Mcdonald's, but are there any interesting, fun, indoor or outdoor activities? We have some pretty neat indoor fun places where we live. We'll also have an infant and grandparent with us, so any suggestions will be helpful. Our 3 year old is very active and curious. Thanks!

In Ashland, about 15 min. south of Medford, there is a neat science exploratorium called "Science works", you can do a google search, they have a nice web site.
There are some nice parks, Bear creek, in Medford and Lithia in Ashland.

In Medford there is also a fun center a few miles north of town off of the I-5 in Central Point, they have a play center and kiddie games.

If you want to go north about 25 mi. to Grants Pass, there is an awesome place called Kid's Zone at Club Northwest. I think it is $5-$7 per kid and they have a great indoor play area.

best wishes,

freedom

The Scienceworks museum in Ashland that Freedom mentions is really great. We've been there several times and my two sons (who were 6 and 3 the last time we went) had a blast. We stop there every time we pass through Ashland, and after 3-4 hours we still have to drag the kids out of there.

Thank you both for these ideas. There are some good ones. Although I was hoping to stay right in Medford, the driving time for each place you mentioned doesn't sound too bad. There's nothing like the advice of real parents versus a website! If anyone has more ideas, please suggest them.
