except when your ballot gets held up b/c some person at the election office decides your signature doesn't match-

i think people should have the option to go in and vote at a poll booth (and not just the election office, which, btw, has a line around the block the days before the election)...

I happened to be near the election office in my city last Friday and voted early as so many others also have done. Was just a short line. Therefore will avoid a long line today. Hope that voter turnout will be higher than usual this year. Agree 100% with the OP about the importance of voting!

If the signature does not match you will be notified and given the opportunity to fix the problem.

yes i got to make a second trip to the elections office-- am starting to miss in-person voting!
