Default What Is Lebanon Like ?

Hi Friends,

As I stated in another thread, me & my family are relocating to Lebanon within 30 days from NC in which I will be employed by Research Mannikins.
No matter what we are coming because in my ''rare'' profession the money is really good & I am very thankfull for that.

What can we look forward too the most ?
The weather is perfect for us, esp when it does snow.
We plan to rent for a short a time as possible & then buy another home out in the country.
Where are the best ''out of town'' area's to buy ?

Thank You for any & all comments & we really want to hear from as many of you as possible.

Eddie & Sherri

Lebanon is a nice small town. Lots of rural property around...its growing there with the new Lowe's Distribution Center going in. Housing prices are starting to creep up a little too as a result.
Annual Strawberry Parade is a great time!
The closest WalMart to Albany and Corvallis.
Very family oriented area...you could also look in Albany, Tangent, and maybe even Sweet Home for a place to live.
There isn't a lot of snow...although we just had an inch or so the other day. Last big snow was 2 years ago (we had about 8 inches total). The nice thing is that if you like the snow...its less than an hour from Lebanon to the mountains so you get the benefits without the need to shovel your driveway!

Lebanon High football team is going to districts this year! So is West Albany...so the area is having a lot of fun with that.

(side note...I am in real estate here locally so I know the area from that perspective too but I wouldn't want to "advertise" here)
