They can stock a river, but that doesn't mean there will be fish. Now just hope for a good return. If they manage to re-establish a coho run it will be a wonderful thing. It has worked in other places. The North Umpqua salmon run was once extinct because of splash dam logging, but now sports a healthy coho run.

Default Now about those dams.........

Great news. I caught an article about it. Yes, lets hope they can restore the runs. The article linked is brief as was the one I had read. Has there been any significant habitat restoration? Is there much need for it?

Just curious.
