Wilsonville Mass Transit
Hello all,
Is is possible for a person to live in SE Portland near Belmont and take mass transit to work in Wilsonville?
If so, how long would it take?
Thank you.

Yes, if you include hitch-hiking mass transit.
OK, OK, that's a joke.
Yes, it's possible, I think. Go to the Tri-Met website and use the trip route feature.

This would mean hours of commute time for you each day. There are limited buses to Wilsonville, mostly bringing workers into Portland from there, then back at the days end and very little to no option mid-day. You'd really want to get a car for this. Wilsonville does have it's own small bus company, I think it's called SMART. Do a web search for more information on it.

There is commuter rail coming to Wilsonville in the fall I believe. It will connect wilsonville to Beaverton and the max light rail. However I think for someone working in SE Portland, the commute would be rather lengthy and impractical, though I bet some will do that commute each day. You would probably be better off with the car Im afraid for the commute you have.

Sorry got the where you live and where you work part incorrect, but the commute would just be the reverse so just as bad.

Yeah, that commuter rail is going to be very interesting when it starts later this fall:
TriMet: WES Commuter Rail (Washington County, Wilsonville to Beaverton)
