Hey Tiff, you should have some pretty good pictures, right? I'd love to see some from the valley, if you have any.

Here it goes........ (ugh this is gonna take a while)

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-011.jpg
This one was taken from south of the marina in Portland.

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-067.jpg
This one was taken on a beach. (im not sure where it was though) we loved the rocks and how HUGE they were!

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-086.jpg
This one was taken from Strawberry Hill. A local tipped us off to go there and we were glad we did! The tidepools and seals were so cool!

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-093.jpg
The pier in Newport. It smelled bad and was pretty noisy, but it was funny hearing all the seals taliking to one another.

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-095.jpg
Newport again, taken from the pier. (the seals were just below us)

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-100.jpg
We thought this was a pretty unique shot of the Astoria Bridge.

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-102.jpg
Astoria taken from the colum

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-142.jpg
This one is of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach.

another one of the rose gardens. agen the skyline can be seen a little in the background

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-123.jpg
This one was taken from behind the Astoria colum. It is lokking south of the city, away from the river. If you can see the sign in the foreground, it is explaining that Lewis and Clark once roamed the area. Hey, Did you know that Astoria is the oldest city west of the Mississippi? Thats pretty cool.

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-128.jpg
Astoria again, looking towards the big bridge from the Maritime Museum. You can see parts of the Riverfront, with the trolley. I heard that cruise ships dock at Astoria, cuz they have their own harbor, west of the bridge. Thats pretty cool, too. Do cruise ships go to Portland, too? I think they should. People often overlook Portland, although it really is a great and unique city. Theres more to do there than people realize.

Pictures Of Oregon-oregon-vacation-07-146.jpg
Haystack Rock and her sisters at sunset. Did you know that Haystack is the largest rock on the West coast? It's so BIG! How do those things get there anyways?

[quote=illinoisboy;3230034] Hey, Did you know that Astoria is the oldest city west of the Mississippi?

Also did you know that the Portland courthouse is also the oldest one west of the Mississippi, so is the Oregon Zoo?

I just wanted to throw that in.
