Pictures Of Oregon (Portland, Eugene, Salem: vacation, winter, single)

I'll start off by posting the ones I took, while on the coast for vacation last August. We flew into Portland and stayed there for a couple days and then made our way down I-5 and then over to 101, passing through California. We never really got to spend any time in Eugene or Salem though.



This one was taken from south of the marina in Portland.




This one was taken on a beach. (im not sure where it was though) we loved the rocks and how HUGE they were!




This one was taken from Strawberry Hill. A local tipped us off to go there and we were glad we did! The tidepools and seals were so cool!




The pier in Newport. It smelled bad and was pretty noisy, but it was funny hearing all the seals taliking to one another.

We thought this was a pretty unique shot of the Astoria Bridge.




Sunset in Rockaway Beach, I think




This one is of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. ( I think it is the largest rock on the west coast?) My family and I all thought that Oregon was, by far the most fun trip we've ever taken! Every single town was very unique, and they all had something different to offer. The scenery was a really big thing for us too, coming from Illinois. I think Oregon is now my favorite state!

I know!! This is my first time trying to post pics! I thought I did everything that tutorial thing said! What did i do wrong????? Is there some way I can fix it?

man, heck if i know...im kinda computer illiterate..... maybe pm a moderator, or someone else who has posted pics and ask for some help in that corner....

Upload your pictures to Photobucket or an equivalent host.

Then when your want to include a picture in one of your posts, click on the little yellow icon that looks like a mountain and enter the URL for the picture.

What do you know, IT WORKED!!
Ok this is what you do
1. go to the Advanced reply
2. see all those little pics at the top? There is one that looks like a paper clip, just to the right of the white smily. Got it? click on it.
3. This will bring up a new screen. from there you can browse your computer, and upload a pic.

I hope this helps

And if you click on the pic that I posted it blows up and fills the screen. Just how cool is that?
