Good afternoon everyone.

I've been reading a lot of older posts about the area we're about to move to but I have a few things that maybe only people who live there can answer.

We would need to use a PO box based on where the property is located. I'm wondering about deliveries of packages though. Is there something in place in remote areas like this for package delivery? I figure with Amazon as popular as it is, I can't be the first person to ask but I've done searches and can't see any.

Do people pretty much leave each other alone? I'm very friendly if I go into town or someone needs help, I like to go somewhere once a month for shopping but we're homebodies for the most part. Is pot smoking an issue? My husband and our son work from home so employment in the area isn't a need.

Basically, I'm sick. My husband and I (and our kids) need quiet where we can all be together.

I'm just curious about day to day life in the Bly/Bonanza/Klamath area, I guess.

We've visited a few times, looking at properties, we love what we see and can't wait to get there.

Thank you!

Don't be in a rush to buy.

Check out everything carefully in person with multiple people. Neighbors, water access, road maintenance, building regulations, sheriff presence or lack of presence, etc. What someone says may not always be how things turn out.

There are a few threads here. Find them by browsing or search tool.
