Default Rivers or swimming holes near washington Cty

HI all,

I recently moved to Oregon, (Beaverton) and I am trying to find a good river to go to where you can swim. Any suggestions on good rivers or lakes that are good for family's to go to that are not to far from Beaverton?

Thanks,
