Oregon mountains and Oregon rivers are two really great reasons to live in Oregon. Almost every city is near a river.

All five photos would look good on a post card.

Imagine yourself in Glide sitting on your deck, and watching the river flow by while partaking of your favorite beverage, and thanking the lucky stars that there's such a place on earth.

Great photos. This forum needs a camera icon to go in the "rating" section along with the stars and the garbage can so we know that there are photos. In the absence of that, I would encourage posters to put PHOTO in capital letters in their title bar. A lot of us like to see photos from different parts of the state.

This is one of the places that is an incentive for my oldest daughter. For good grades, my mom takes her to various cabins around Oregon for a Grandma and her only weekend. There are some incredibly beautiful views from these little cabins!! And oftentimes, you can be quite isolated even in a "campground". Not during the summer of course, but beautiful weather and wonderful memories arent just made during June, July and August!
