Smile Renting a house in Corvallis

We are looking for a house to rent in Corvallis. Please give advice on the best resources and/or property managers for rentals. We have a very well trained mellow 5 year old yellow lab and a semi-well trained mellow 15 year old son. We will eventually purchase a home in or near Corvallis. All help and advice will be welcomed.

Thanks in advance!

~ West Coast Girl.

I know a couple of property managers that I'd be happy to put you in touch with. About 6 years ago we moved to Corvallis and wanted to do the same thing...we found that there wasn't a lot of "single family" rentals available that met our needs - and it was actually more cost effective to buy a home (just about the same payments each month). I don't really keep track of rentals, but I'd suspect that things are still the same.

You may want to consider expanding your area to include Albany and Philomath - you might find some additional places. I know in the current real estate market here there are a few more people who might be willing to rent out (because they are having some difficulty selling).

Please pm me and I'd be happy to give you the contact info for the property managers I know.

good luck...and welcome to the mid-valley.
