Hi Tiffany,

Im digging the Tigard area. Seems quiet but still close to civilzation. I have a girlfriend who wants to move but shes pushing Colorado but Im still doing my homework.

I work in Healthcare insurance (not sales) and I moonlight as a DJ.

And yes I have visited and fell in love w Oregon

Very cool I was living in Tigard (well, more Metzger) when I met my adorable friend as she moved here from So. Cal. ...i really liked it, we lived on a cul-d-sac that was off of a cul-d-sac so no traffic, yeah! and we could throw some fun block parties. Our neighborhood was the place to be for the 4th of July! And great because everything was right there, didnt have to drive long distances to get to anything. Heck, even had a major mall within 5min. and the place with the BEST chinese food.....ohhhhh yum.
anyhow...dont forget to job scout! and best of luck to you both in your decision.
Tiffany

I used to ***** about all the people moving to CA in the 80's. Now, this place is wrecked and it's forcing me to move to the "sticks" in S. OR.
When everybody wrecks that place, I'll move again. I used to live in the "Big Empty" of Eastern MT. If you want peace and quiet, go there LOL

This thread is hilarious! I live in Spokane, WA, but I want to move to Oregon.

We hate the californicators here, too! Damn them and their poor driving skills! And their ridiculously high cost of living.

Lol@bmav.

I can picture you running away, "Oh, god, no! Not the californicators! Noooo! They're everywhere! Flee! Flee before it's too late!"

I am a latina with 2children (not planning to multiply) moving to OR!! most of the people I know from there are very nice...so your comment is just your hatred to such an easy target. God said that its easy to love your friends but in HIS eyes its a greater blessing when you love your enemy. I know we are everywhere in the states but we are not all the same. I hope you can find tranqulity in your soul.

There's a reason we're all trying to leave California, IT SUCKS !! It's a horrid place to live. If you love illegal aliens, high taxes, pressing #1 for English, seeing billboards in Spanish, gay marriage, an actor for a governor, public employee unions & special interest groups running the state, and social services up the wazoo then California is the place for you !!
