Default Astoria and the Coast

Getting married in mid April 2009 and we are looking at the Astoria area and the coast as a possible honeymoon destination.
Need some ideas on what kind of weather we will be looking at, things that should not be missed and other ideas.
Thanks

Bendite is on a distinguished road
April in Astoria and on the coast - count on rain and be plesantly surprised if you get a clear day. It could be cold, or you could luck out with some days in the mid sixties. Last April, it actually snowed a little in Astoria. If you are looking for a place that you don't care if the weather is a bit wet and cold, Astoria can be a really nice town to visit. It can be pretty romantic bundled up in front of a fire with a cup of mulled wine and Astoria has some romantic places to stay. If you decide on Astoria, you won't be on the coast, but you'll be close and could take a nice drive down to Cannon Beach , or even further to Cape Meares. I myself like the ocean when it is rainy and cold out, but you'd really need to be sure that wouldn't ruin your honeymoon.
