Default La Pine to Sunriver rafting

I found some info about rafting a stretch of the Deschutes from La Pine state park to Sunriver - it is supposedly a "leisurely ride" (GORP - Cascade Lakes Highway - Oregon Scenic Drives). Has anyone done this before? I can't find any more specific information. It sounds perfect but since we are bringing our kids I want to be sure we it is really calm and safe. Thanks.

I've been down that part of the deschutes, but it was about 10 years ago. I remember one Class III rapid, I think, the rest was calm. It was on a guided tour and I can't remember exactly where we started. You might want to call some of the rafting tour companies in the area. The guides are on that river every day, and can tell you all about it.
