Granted, I attended Philomath schools
ages ago (20 years), so I don't have any current data. But even back then, Corvallis schools were rated better than Philomath.
That being said, we had some wonderful teachers in Philomath and like most places, you get out of it what you put in. Lots of kids went on to university, plenty of others didn't, just like anywhere else.
Unless the schools are rated unsatisfactory (which doesn't seem to be the case based on what I could find), I imagine you'll be happy with the quality of education your kids get there.
