Thumbs up In the mail today-FREE Oregon Coast information

A month or two ago I purchased an Oregon Coast magazine (I'm 1500 or so miles away). In it was one of those "request further information" cards which I completed and sent in.

Since then I've received some interesting brochures, mostly from places I would gladly visit as a tourist, ex: Whale Cove Inn, Depoe Bay. Although I requested it, so far I have not received any information on buying property rather than visiting.

There was a nice big envelope in today's mail, Mile-by-Mile Guide to HWY 101, with "Oregon's Central Coast" included as a separate insert. A lot of ads to be sure, but also maps, photos, listings.

How can free not be a great deal!

Good for you Alinka! That is a really good idea to send away for free stuff. Does the Chamber of Commerce still do that too? That would be the way to get information about areas of interest. By the way, I'd still love to have you as a neighbor (someday).
