Question Good place to cut wood near Bend?

I need to make one more run to get some firewood for the winter.
I usually have been going through Sisters and southwest from there down 16, but if someone could tell me a better place to go near here, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'd go to the BLM or Forest Service offices and inquire there. They're the ones who give you the permits, and they'll have some info on good spots.
