Default Is Redmond near Bend?

Hello,

I hope you have managed to find a job by now. Are you looking for one in the same field or is it just hard all around to get jobs there.

We are looking to relocate to Bend Oregon. Is that near Redmond?

Do you enjoy life in Oregon?

And is the job situation difficult because of recent developments or is it always hard to get a job there?

I hope to hear from you!

Regards,
Cyan

It's harder than it was 2 years ago, since new home construction (the major industry, right up there with tourism) took what looks like a semi-permanent dive. But it depends on what kind of job you are trying to get. In healthcare? Most of Eastern Oregon is critically short (to the point of getting state/federal aid) of doctors and nurses and technicians. If you are in, say, real estate, this is not a good time to move to Central or Eastern Oregon.

Yes Bend is like about 10 minutes away from Redmond
and yes i do enjoy life out where, i love all the outdoor activity and the weather, other than that job opportunity around here is not good.
