I think that Oregon has the most striking coast lines of any coastal state. From cliffs that fall directly into the Pacific Ocean, the largest coastal sand dunes in the United States. The drive up 101 from Brookings to Astoria is something that is a must do, if you have never taken this drive your missing one of the natural wonders of Oregon.

One of my friends dragged me there while I was visiting her in Portland. Oh my land!!! That is an astonishingly beautiful area! We went from Astoria to Seaside, then further south. Besides being beautiful, there is some interesting history and nice towns to wander in. And good seafood.

But don't worry, I won't tell anyone else!

Ha, I am torn! Part of me wants everyone to know what I know....the Oregon coast is gorgeous! The other part of me doesn't want to share.
