I have never tried it, but I have eaten at the "Tidal Raves" in Depoe Bay, with friends who have tried the smoked salmon chowder there. They loved it.

Default Best chowder on the North Oregon Coast

I've had chowder from all over the on the North Oregon Coast but the best I've ever had anywhere is from a tiny little place called the Parkside Cafe in Garibaldi. The owner makes her chowder every morning from scratch. Don't get there too early cuz it won't be ready yet. She also has sandwiches and baked goods but all I ever have is the chowder. Yum!
