Default Duck vs. Beaver territory

Where are most people Duck fans and where are most people Beaver fans?

It seems like in Corvallis, Albany, Salem, Polk County, and Newport most people are Beaver fans and in Lane County, Bend and southern Oregon most people are Duck fans.

Actually, the entire state are glorious Duck fans. Only a few retarded types are beaver fans.

Go Vikings!

As a PSU student who went to OSU to use equip that we couldn't get funding to buy but that THEY weren't even using yet wouldn't give up, I am not a fan of OSU.

Lane County of course is Duck country. I've noticed that much of Portland is Duck Country. Not sure about the suburbs. Naturally Linn and Benton counties are Beaver country. I live in Salem, not sure about here although I seem to see quite a few more Beaver fans.

My observation has been that the more liberal areas are Ducks and the more conservative ones are Beavers which is surprising since it was BENTON county, not LANE county that issued marriage licenses to homosexuals a few years ago. Quite a switch from the formerly conservative OSU area.

And your comment about "retarded types", BLAZER PROPHET, is uncalled for. This should be a civil discourse. However, considering past posts by you, I'm not surprised. You do an injustice to Duck fans. I would hope that additional posts don't lower themselves to your level.

"Oregon" as a whole does not get enough respect. While I lean toward being a Duck fan... I root for the Beavers all the time, unless they are playing one another. I know many who have similar feelings. So lets all be "Oregon" fans. This might even include PSU...

pfffffffffffffffffffffft!!!

A little Duck partisianship never hurts. I could have mentioned the "sheep" incident, but held my tongue out of respect to beaver fans.

BTW, know how to keep beaver football players off your lawn? Put up goal posts.

I concur that most people like both teams and when they play each other, they must pick sides- most people have their favorite team and joke around quite a bit with each other.

Neither! I live in Salem and I am not for or against the ducks or beavers. Until they BOTH have a game scheduled on the same day and all the fans clog up
I-5 south! 45mph on the freeway in all three lanes! WTF??!! Go Wildcats!

However, some people never joke around nor have a sense of humor.

Gee, wouldn't that just suck?
