Where are the Good places to EAT
We are going to be visiting Oregon on 3-7 through 3-14 (looking to re-locate to Oregon)
We are going to be going from Portland to the Coast to Eugene to Bend..... We also may go to Klamath and Medford.
Looking for places that serve good food at reasonable prices.
When on the coast I am thinking seafood (when I was in Florence there were many seafood places).
Are there any GREAT sandwich places around.
Places that serve Great breakfasts.
Cafe, Pizza, Mexican, Chinese (etc) restaurants.
Thanks in Advance
Steve C.

In Portland:
-Mexican: Aqui or Cha Cha Cha
-Cafe: Byways Cafe, great breakfast
-Pizza: Old Town Pizza or Apizza Scholls
-Best Happy Hour: Ringside Steakhouse - After 9:45pm
-Sandwich/Burger: Buffalo Gap or any McMenamins
-Italian: Piazza Italia - My favorite place in town!
-Pub: Concordia Alehouse, great sandwiches too or Kells, live Irish music evernight
-Just a cool place: The Leaky Roof
Medford:
-Sandwich: R&D Sandwich Factory
-Italian: Vinny's
Ashland's got a lot of great places too!
I would recommend Cannon Beach if you're going to the coast. A great little town.

Klamath Falls
Red's Backwoods BBQ, Washburn Way --- outstanding ribs
Los Portrillos, Washburn Way --- small place, but excellent enchilladas
Black Bear Diner, South Sixth Street --- homestyle meals and nummy cobbler
Antonio's Cucina Italiano, Main Street --- veal parmigiana highly recomended
The Creamery, Main Street --- upscale micro brew pub with extensive selection of beers and a good menu --- try a glass of the Butt-Crack Brown Ale

Click that. Every year, the Eugene Weekly newspaper asks readers to vote on all their Eugene favorites. That link is for the restaurants. Also click "Listings" for a list and reviews of area restaurants. Its a great resource.

For Mexican food, you must try "Sergios Dos" in the 4000 block of S 6th St. Excellent Food/Service/Price/Atmosphere. Free 'nibblies' during happy hour ~Mon-Thur 4p.m. to 6p.m. For breakfast, I strongly reccommend Pappy Gander's Rest in the Airport [or they have another Rest in Merrill - about 8-10 miles south of town on highway 39 [continuation of S 6th St]

When in Florence eat at Mo's. It's the best seafood place. Mo's is located in the Old Town section and backs up to the river. You get a nice view of the river with your seafood.

Check out Higgins in Portland
Hello there:
Hope you enjoy your visit to lovely Oregon.
For local, authentic Northwest cuisine check out Higgins in downtown Portland. You can also eat in their bar...which is fun and a little less expensive. The food runs on the spendy side, but well worth the experience IMO...or you can hit their lunch hour for less $$.
Enjoy!
