Yes, it's so very pretty in the spring. Alas, I am renting right now and the landlord didn't want to have the tree pruned when he should have. So, I am afraid it is on its last legs. Just hope it makes it through the winter because we have a long way to go.

Lilac's sprout up out of the ground in the spring here. Sure do smell mmmmmmmmmm good...................
Here, southwest Or on the mountain 2000' we have about 3". Today it was melting. I've been playing on logging roads with john deere Gator 6x4 atv......................    ................... .......hohohoho

Yup, we have about 8 inches or so in Bend. I'm beginning to see how Cascade snow is different than Colorado snow. Even though we are on the eastern side of the Cascades, it's still a wetter, heavier snow than Colorado. It has been pretty icy here too, which is something that was rare in Colorado. I just may have to break down and buy those studded tires!

Reported by relative in Yamhill - several inches as of a couple days ago. Sorry, no update available 
Southern California - near Idlyllwild at about 4300 feet of elevation - 16" last Wednesday. Still melting off...
