Default Hermiston, ATV riding close by?

We're moving to Hermiston this summer and were wondering if there are any good places to ride our sport style quads close by. Living in the Boise area now and we can pretty much ride on any BLM land. There are plenty of areas to ride that are within 20 minutes from our home. Looking for ohv parks mainly or sand dunes. I know about the new Morrow county ohv park but thats a bit of a drive, and of course the world famous Oregon coast dunes. Just looking for something a little closer. If there are any atv clubs out there I would also be interested in joining. Any info would be appreciated, Thanx!

Check out there. Pretty good group of people. We (family) do alot of riding on the dunes. Sand Lake, Florence, Winchester Bay, and Coos Bay.

Thanx FXRS. I'll be sure to check them out. Also do you ever ride up in Richland at Horn Rapids ORV park? Just wondering if it's overcrowded or a good place close by to take the family.

No I've never ridden in those areas. Only other place I've really ridden is over in Morrow county which isn't all that bad but some of the trails can be very rocky. It can be wet and muddy in the summer and dry and very dusty in the summer.
