Health Food Stores in S. Oregon???
I'm looking at Southern Oregon from Roseburg south to move to and I'm wondering if there is an abundance of health food stores, I can't drink cow's milk and need goat's milk and other goat's milk products like cheese ect.
Right now I live in NE GA and have 40 mile round trip just to get goat's milk I'd like to know if I can narrow that trip down
What towns have health food stores?
Thanks

Fred Meyer is a large northwest grocery chain (part of Kroger's) and I know they carry goat's milk.

Medford has a store, Food 4 Less that has a (cheap) natural food section, and Ashland has several health food stores. As mentioned, many chain stores also carry natural organic food there. There are also great growers markets in GP, Medford, and Ashland.
I know what you mean about having to go long distances to find what you need. I moved to N Michigan 2 1/2 years ago from Medford, and it's been so frustrating trying to get that kind of stuff here. I've all but given up, but my son has multiple food allergies, including peanuts, and it's hard to find certain things for him. I've learned to cook practically everything from scratch. I can't find much organic food, but at least my cooking is all natural.
BTW I'm also hoping to return to the West. I miss it more than I thought I would!

I always make a point to stop by Ashland Food Coop when I drive through, on N 1st Street in Ashland, OR. There is a small health food store in downtown Roseburg on Jackson St., called New Day. Was told it was nice, but haven't been in there yet.

Roseburg has a health food store downtown (New Day). There is also a summer farmers market. The Freddie's has a large natural foods section with goat milk. I think Sherms also carries goat milk, but I'm not sure. Also a health food store in Winston (about 5 miles south of Roseburg). Plus there are several CSAs (community supported agriculture-you sign up for the season and get a box of fresh local often organic produce every week).
