Default Moving to Coos Bay

My family and I are relocating to Coos Bay in a month or so, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the Eastside neighborhood of Coos Bay. We didn't get to see it, when we were up there before. Thank you

It's on the hillsides overlooking the bay toward the west, so the views can be lovely. There is not a lot over there, I think a couple of small stores and such. Mostly homes. It seems like it would have a rich history but I was not able to find any when I looked on the internet. A bit away from the traffic so I liked that. As with any areas, make sure you check a map for flood plain information. I know nothing about the schools.
