Thanks I don't have details of why he dosen't work there anymore but I suspect testifying in front of judge had something to do with it.

Document everything you can. The people that they bring to the case will have nothing but paperwork, all the people against you are gone, so what is going to be is what is read. You need to be able to respond with reality. They have hearsay, what someone else said, if they try to bring up a document, that says your ex boss said this, tell them to present the person, not the document. You are there to defend yourself, ask them for a real live person do defend the company. One who worked with you.

Great to hear legal aid is likely to take your case! Let us know how it goes. They might be able to give you the name of a good discrimination attorney

it's official, I have a lawyer for the hearing. I will have to get private lawyer for discrimination case which I,m told looks solid. I still have to file complaint with EEOC. I,ve always looked at myself as a company guy and all I was doing was asking for a job transfer to get away from the harrasment. Hard to believe that a large company with HR department didn,t see this coming. After being thrown out like yesterdays garbage I don't feel like a company guy anymore. I will continue to update just in case there is other readers facing similer situation.

You got my attention with the "age discrimination" comment. Now I am really interested in how your case turns out. Us old folks need to come out fighting. Double good for you for hanging in there.

Remember that the employment insurance hearing is sworn testimony. Think about what YOU say, and think strategically about the questions you ask the employer's representative.
