Best Restaurants in Rogue Valley (2009 edition) (Medford, Grants Pass: organic, garden, food)

I'm in the Rogue Valley roughly every month or so (usually Medford, but Ashland and Grant's Pass also) and I'd like to hear your favorite restaurants.

I'm particularly looking for fish/seafood, Indian, Mediterranean, or "fine dining." I'm definitely not looking for buffets or all-you-can-eat places.

I know there is a McGrath's, but I'd rather stay away from chains.

We always really enjoyed Cucina Biazzi (Italian) in Ashland.

In Medford, we loved Jackson Creek Pizza for pizza (downtown location), Kaleidescope for salads, and Yummy Yan's for Chinese. We like to patronize privately-owned restaurants and do so whenever possible. We miss these places, we pretty much are surrounded by chains in Charlotte.

Summer Jo's, in Grants Pass, is a restaurant located on their farm which grows their own organic produce and makes their own bread. The food is fresh, innovative, and healthy, in an informal garden setting - the kind of place you will want to take your visiting guests for a "special" dining experience. After your meal, you can tour the spectacular "garden".

IMHO Summer Jo's is the only Rogue Valley restaurant I would call the BEST
