Considering a move to Bend...just how pricey is it?
For example, how much would a new construction 4 br, 2 ba home cost? Thanks. |

I was looking at a nice new subdivision called Northwest Crossing (garages in alleys behind the houses, several parks, a small commercial strip with shops) and the prices start at around $500k for a 1,400 sf house (on a 5,000sf lot). On the other hand, that's granite counters, wood floors, tile, nice crown moldings, high end windows. But I don't think you'll find new construction for much less than $400k, not without going outside Bend a bit. Last edited by PNW-type-gal; 04-05-2007 at 07:56 PM.. |

I'm hoping that all this high dollar talk includes the land (however small it is). I have three plus acres in Crooked River Ranch and I'm looking to start building here next year.

It really depends on the area of Bend and the square footage/land/options. They could go between $300,000 to $500,00. It really depends on what you're looking for.

Hi, My name is Andy. My website is Moderator cut. I am a general contractor and real estate investor. I work with lots of people helping them buy or sell homes in Bend. I am not a realtor. Sellers contact me because they are looking for payment relief and buyers often look to me because they are looking to buy below market value or buy on a "lease option" or "rent to own" basis. Regardless, if you are looking for discounted houses in Bend, please feel free to contact me.
thanks, andy Last edited by Waterlily; 04-24-2007 at 06:27 PM.. Reason: No ads |
