Default Anyone in Camas Valley or Umpqua?

I've been looking at those two areas and would love to hear from someone who actually lives there.

Years and years ago on one of my many road trips I drove thru those areas but of course when you grow up in Oregon there are so many beautiful places so I wasn't paying that much attention.

My goal is to move to a southern Oregon area to miss some of the rain, I don't mind overcast but from what I gather Roseburg and south doesn't get quite as much rain.

Is that along Hwy 42 South? I drive thru there occassionally (I'm a Coastie). They get winters (snow) but I also see wine vineyards so they get more seasonal weather than the Coast.
