Default Shopping in Newport

I just went shopping in Newport today and I think the people there seem so friendly. I'm talking random people in random stores (i,e, Fred Meyer). I never got the same vibes in Salem. Ha, maybe it's that fresh coastal air thing going on. Clears out the bad vibes.

i love the owner of that little hidden away toyshop in Newport (if youre going north, youd turn right somewhere nearbouts the salvationarmy, its about a block back or so and the neatest store!!) - he is always super chatty and friendly, gave us some terrific ideas, a great deal, and had some pretty darn funny stories!!
One of the waitresses in a little resturnt there once, we got to talking so much, she sat with us during her break! lol
yeah, beach people are great for the most part. I do think its a more laid back lifestyle that does it. ya, that and the fresh coastal air.
