A friend recommended Ashland, OR, so I checked the website and it looks like a wonderful place to live. There was only one apt. complex, so I checked neighboring towns and found one I liked in Talent. The median age is 34, with the largest group being 20-44 year olds. I'm just wondering if I should rule out the area based on this or if I'd still be able to meet people near my age. Has anyone encountered this delima and/or has anyone lived in Oregon that would recommend an area? I don't want to have to shovel my car out of a foot of snow in the morning, but I do like snow and the change of seasons. Thanks...still trying to figure out where to move to!

A friend recommended Ashland, OR, so I checked the website and it looks like a wonderful place to live. There was only one apt. complex, so I checked neighboring towns and found one I liked in Talent. The median age is 34, with the largest group being 20-44 year olds. I'm just wondering if I should rule out the area based on this or if I'd still be able to meet people near my age. Has anyone encountered this delima and/or has anyone lived in Oregon that would recommend an area? I don't want to have to shovel my car out of a foot of snow in the morning, but I do like snow and the change of seasons. Thanks...still trying to figure out where to move to!
