Good local restaurants/bars in Corvallis
Hi Everyone,
Will someone in the know please let me know a few good local & inexpensive restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Corvallis? Any cool & low key bars that you can recommend?
Thanks so much for taking the time to respond.

New Morning Bakery or The Beanery for breakfast.
The Old World Deli, Nearly Normal's, or King Tin for lunch.
Big River or Le Bistro for dinner.

I like downing a pint at Squirrels when I get to town. Funky college little bar. Cirellos or American Dream for pizza pie. What can I say, I was a grad student there.

Breakfast: Sharons Cafe (South town) was my favorite when I taught at OSU
Lunch: New World Deli (Oregon Trail brewery!), Evergreen (indian food)
Dinner: Tokyo Steakhouse
Beers: McMenamins, Clodfelters, Squirrels, Fox and Firkin
Other places: Local Boyz (Hawaiian food - good and fairly inexpensive); Senor Sams, Aomatsu

I can't say much about the bars because I'm wasted before half a wine cooler, but I can tell you what food is good
Ew New Morning Bakery is bland
I would go to the Broken Yoke Cafe for traditional breakfast, or Sunnyside Up if you like more natural/organic foods; Noah's Bagels is good for a quickie
And if you do like organic etc, Cafe Yumm is good for lunch, or Nearly Normals; Fireworks is great for dinner with local ingredients but a little spendier
Good homemade tortillas at Zia's (southwestern burritos)
Best Pizza is Woodstocks
Best everyday chinese is China Delight
Big River is overpriced, and the entrees aren't worth it, but they are good for drinks and appetizers
Beanery is a good coffee place, yummy "Bean shake"
Local Boys is good for white rice and a pile of decent hawaiian beef or chicken, not much else
They don't have great Mexican food in Corvallis, but El Sol de Mexico is decent
But the top of my list has to be this great little local mom and pop called McDonald's--fantastic!
