For everyone who wonders about the reality of the rain and greyness in Western Oregon, I'd like to share a great site I found just idly surfing weather pages. This guy is very into weather stats and maps and writing about our climate. his site is clean, unclutter, easy to load, has NO ADS or pop-ups, and lots of very useful REAL information.

Thanks for the heads up on this whole bunch of reading..Will take some time later and read it.
I think , Oh my gosh we are trouble if I'm thinking, we should just have an oregon weather thread to post what your seeing on your part of the coast, what i'm seeing in salem and so on , do it regularly so people wanting to know what its like on a daily basis can see...
Its like since thursday,according to my rain guage here on the north end of salem we have had almost 3 inches of rain and its stayed in the high 40's ..
