Default Grants Pass area cycling?

I'm considering a move to the Grants Pass area and am wondering how the area is for cyclists? Are there good bike trails or bike routes? How common are bike lanes on the roadways? I bike about 30 miles a day maybe 4 or 5 days a week. Cycling is a big part of my life and I would probably not be happy living somewhere where cycling is difficult (narrow roads with fast cars, heavy traffic and no shoulders).

I've read a lot about Grants Pass but haven't found much information on cycling. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know if you're still checking this forum, but here's my experience.

I moved to Grants Pass from LA last September, and I don't know much about the clubs or organized rides, but you do see a lot of cyclists around on the roads out here. The main highways and the major roads in town have decent shoulders or bike lanes. The back roads don't have shoulders, but traffic on them is very light, and I feel much safer riding on them than I did riding anywhere in LA.

HTH,
Elizabeth
