Default Need help finding kid-friendly places

After trading ideas with another parent about places to check out with our kids, I decided to create a website called OregonParents.com for parents to trade info on where to go, what do, etc in Oregon with kids. The problem is that my family and I just moved here last year from Texas and mostly we've only explored the Eugene and Florence areas, so I don't have much to put on my site yet. I'd like to find some nice kid-friendly places to check out on the weekends either north around Salem, or south around Sutherlin/Roseberg. Can anyone suggest a few places in these areas that would be fun for the kids?

Thanks,
W.E.Cole

Talking Maybe I was too picky...

No replies to my original post after two days, so maybe I was being too picky about what areas I wanted tips on. Mainly, I was interested in the areas just north and south of Euegen because my vaccation starts next week and I was hoping to hear about a few local places to check out with my kids, then maybe later I could post something about it on the new website.

To be honest, I'd be glade to hear about any places to check out with my kids, who are 3 & 4, regardless of what area of Oregon it's in. This is a hard age group to keep entertained and I think I'm getting a little burned out on just going to the beach or hiking in the forest every weekend. I don't want to stay in the house all the time for my vaccation, but I haven't had enough free time to discover how to spend some free time.

wecole,
A couple of places that my kids have enjoyed:
OMSI in Portland (annual membership is a great deal if you use it)
Hatfield Marine Science Center (Newport)
Oregon Coast Aquarium
Enchanted Forest / Thrillville
There is a waterpark in Eugene that my daughters went to on school trips. I don't recall the name, perhaps someone else might.
Wildlife Safari (near Roseburg area)
