Have been researching alot of websites about Oregon and the coastal area's. Can anyone give me insight into Pacific city,it's infrastructure, etc... How are it's beaches and surrounding area's? Is it expensive to relocate/live there? I love the look of the Cannon Beach area but it's looks to be somewhat pricey...Sperling's best places said it is 33 % above national average to live there, rating a 133 on a scale that uses 100 as its target point! Yikes...

Pacific City has it's merits, (quiet and slow) but is a bit out of the way, and beaches / surrounding area = sand. Not spectacular beauty and convenience of Cannon Beach. The surfing is better in Pacific City, but remember, this is not Tahiti. (bring your dry suit). Lincoln City is closest shopping, but will need to go to Hillsboro/Beaverton for Costco / Target...
